Sign to support safe and dignified air travel for passengers with disabilities.

Over 35 years ago, the Air Carrier Access Act banned disability-based discrimination in air travel. Despite this ban, paralyzed and disabled Veterans and other people with disabilities – particularly wheelchair users – face significant air travel challenges, including broken and lost wheelchairs; risk of injury during boarding and deplaning; as well as lack of accessible restrooms.

Sign PVA’s petition to show your support for accessible air travel. Add your voice to the fight to ensure that workers who help passengers with disabilities have better training in how to safely assist them and properly stow their wheelchairs, airlines use planes that meet increased disability access standards, and that the federal government hold airlines accountability for problems. These reforms will allow disabled Veterans and people with disabilities to fly much more safely.
